Yes! We welcome beginner riders of all ages. We have a variety of lessons scheduled for all levels of rider.

Our lower age limit is 5 years old. We are unable to make any exceptions to this rule as our insurance covers us for riders aged 5 years old and above.

Our weight limit for riders is 13.5 stone.

Riders should wear warm, comfortable outdoor clothing, suitable for the weather at that time. Waterproof clothing may be required as all our lessons are outdoors. Clothing should be close fitting and all jackets, cardigans, coats etc should be fastened securely.

Shoulders and legs must always be covered. Riders will not be permitted to ride in vest tops, shorts or anything similar.

Footwear should be boots with a small heel, this can include walking boots and wellingtons. Trainers or flat soled shoes will not be permitted.

Jewellery will have to be removed prior to riding and long hair must be tied back in a ponytail.

Riders are required to ride in an industry standard riding hat which complies with current Insurance regulations. Riders will be unable to ride in bicycle helmets or riding hats which do not meet current safety standards.

Hats are available to hire on a limited basis and are reserved for riders new to horse riding.

Riders attending in unsuitable clothing will, unfortunately, be declined the opportunity to ride to preserve rider safety.
